Peaxact goes commercial via S-PACT
On July 16, 2010, the software and consulting company S-PACT GmbH has been founded which will develop and support Peaxact in the future.
The spectral modeling tool Peaxact will soon leave its prototype status. On July 16, 2010, the software and consulting company S-PACT GmbH (http://www.s-pact.de) has been founded which will develop and support Peaxact in the future. The persons involved are well-known to the AixCAPE members. Dr. Clemens Minnich is an expert in spectroscopic applications and hardware, whereas Dirk Engel, former PhD student in Wolfgang Marquardt's group, has been one of the key developers of the software tool and the algorithms behind it.
