WOMS plus
Efficient work processes for core activities such as process design and plant operation are pivotal for economic success. The WOMS plus Framework supports the intuitive creation of work process models needed for the analysis, improvement, and implementation of industrial work processes.
Modeling Procedure
- Create a model of your operational or design process in an iterative way.
- Add only those aspects you are really interested in, without being forced into details by an inadequate modeling language.
- Export your model in a tool of your choice to simulate or enact the work process.
Modeling Language
Both the core concepts and the graphical visualization of the Work Process Modeling Language WPML are based on the activity diagrams of the Unified Modeling Language UML. WPML is implemented in the Web Ontology Language OWL. In consequence- WPML can easily be extended to cover any type of work process,
- WPML provides "built-in" support for model checks,
- transformations of WPML models into other formats (e.g., for simulation) can be defined in a straightforward manner.
Modeling Tool
WOMS plus is an easy to use editor for WPML models. Users do not need to be familiar with the theoretical foundation of WPML, but can rather work in an intuitive graphical environment.
